The Big Green Event is a one-day, student-run service project that will serve Delta State and the Cleveland area. Each spring, Delta State Students come together to say a big “Thank You” to the Cleveland community by completing service jobs such as yard work, painting, and cleaning up.
The Student Government Association and student organizations of Delta State University are committed to service and citizenship in our local community. Students at Delta State University are interested in making a difference in the community, and that starts with the Big Green Event. Each Spring, DSU Students who are dedicated to helping others will complete a campus and Cleveland community service day, including clean-ups, yard work, painting, repairs, and waste pick-ups.
Our goal for the Big Green Event is to get committed students to contribute positively to serving and improving our community.

If you submitted a project site request, you will be contacted individually to discuss all matters related to the project. If you signed up as a student volunteer, more information will be sent to the email on the form with details for the day of event.
