Chief of Staff
The Chief of Staff is responsible for informing the student body of any legislative proceedings, which may affect the university. This person will organize the legislative day at the Capitol each spring semester, ensure all members of SGA are completing their office hours each week, assist other cabinet members in their roles, and keep a current list of official SGA correspondence. Furthermore, the Chief of Staff oversees the appointment of Freshman Rise members and presides over Freshman Rise meetings.

Director of the Big Green Event
The Director of the Big Green Event is responsible for planning the Big Green Event each spring semester. This person will form a committee of diverse students at the start of the fall semester and begin to reach out to the community for sponsorships and projects. Additionally, this person will organize Delta State University’s Small Green Event in the Fall semester, during which the SGA Cabinet is expected to serve the local community.

Director of Athletic Affairs
The Director of Athletic Affairs works with the Delta State Athletic Department to bring awareness to the student body about all athletic events and coordinate events pertaining to athletics.

Director of Public Relations
The Director of Public Relations is responsible for publicizing all events sponsored by the SGA and to establish good rapport with the public at large. This person is in charge of all SGA social media accounts, as well as the Remind system. This person also corresponds with the Office of Communications and Marketing for any graphic materials needed for marketing.

Aidan Hayes
Director of Spirit and Traditions
The Director of Spirit and Traditions is responsible for organizing and promoting spirit and the traditions associated with the university. This person plans homecoming week festivities and works alongside the Office of Student Life to plan the homecoming parade, the presentation of the homecoming court at the football game, and the DSU Most Beautiful Pageant.

Jamaal Bryant
Director of Engagement and Advocacy and International Affairs
The SGA Director of Engagement and Advocacy is responsible for fostering a welcoming and inclusive campus environment for all students through advocacy and engagement initiatives. This person promotes diversity and inclusion, supporting a respectful environment for all students, and also advocates for students in the academic grievance process. Furthermore, the Director of Engagement and Advocacy organizes and facilitates events and initiatives that promote civic engagement and social awareness, and collaborates with student organizations and campus departments to create a supportive campus climate.

Ilyada Hacioglu
Director of International Affairs
The SGA Director of International Affairs is responsible for enhancing the experience of international students and promoting intercultural understanding on campus. This person must be a current international student in good standing, serve as a liaison between international students and the university administration to address their specific needs and concerns, and organize events and programs that celebrate international cultures and promote intercultural exchange. Furthermore, they provide support and resources to international students, including assistance with acclimation to campus life and the local community, and they collaborate with the Office of International Student Services and other relevant campus departments to enhance support for international students. Finally, the Director of International Affairs also promotes awareness and inclusion of the university’s international student population within the broader student body.

Keirra Birch
Director of Health and Wellness
The SGA Director of Health and Wellness is responsible for promoting health and wellness initiatives on campus, with a focus on collaboration with the School of Nursing. This person must be a current pre-nursing or nursing student in good standing. Their duties include collaborating with the School of Nursing to develop and implement health education programs for the student body, planning and organizing health and wellness events, and seeking out and securing resources and partnerships to enhance campus health and wellness initiatives. Additionally, the Director of Health and Wellness is to create a monthly health and wellness article for the student body, which will be published in the Statesman Life Canvas Shell, focusing on relevant health topics and awareness campaigns.
