The Women Minority Business Development Center (WMBDC) will provide access to an online certificate-based Entrepreneurship and Small Business (ESB) programmatic training through CERTIPORT or compatible system. The WMBDC will also provide technical assistance on local, state, and federal contracting opportunities. The WMBDC will assist clients, with its focus on women of color, in preparing and submitting bids and proposals, providing advice regarding functions after the contract has been awarded, including but not limited to: production standards, quality systems, accounting requirements, packaging, subcontracting workflow, Federal, State, local contracting laws, policies, and procedures and the MS State Board of Contractors (MSBOC) General Contractors Licensing.
