Graduate & Continuing Studies

Welcome to Delta State University Graduate and Continuing Studies. Delta State offers a variety of flexible and affordable degree programs with no out of state tuition fees, including online programs and night classes, that will not only serve your academic or professional needs but will also make coursework easier to access and complete for your lifestyle. With core disciplines such as arts, humanities, and sciences, we are committed to meeting the evolving needs of the students we serve.

Our fall recruiting schedule is packed!  We will be traveling to institutions throughout Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama, and Louisiana to track down our next cohort of graduate students.  Interested in applying for Spring 2020?  Follow one of our social media accounts during the month of October, then message us for an application fee waiver code!

We are always looking for ways to improve our graduate programs and to make them more accessible to—and applicable for—working professionals. Our M.S. in Social Justice and Criminology program recently revised its admission requirements to accommodate practitioners in the field. Individuals who may not possess a 3.0 GPA, but who have several years of relevant work experience, are now eligible to apply!

We love our Graduate Assistants!  At Delta State, we offer over 70+ GA positions in departments such as Counseling, Outdoor Recreation, Athletics, and Social Sciences.  In exchange for work throughout the semester, GA’s receive a stipend which helps to cover the cost of tuition.  Throughout the Fall term, we will be profiling various Graduate Assistants across campus.
