Graduate & Continuing Studies

Welcome to Delta State University Graduate and Continuing Studies. Delta State offers a variety of flexible and affordable degree programs with no out of state tuition fees, including online programs and night classes, that will not only serve your academic or professional needs but will also make coursework easier to access and complete for your lifestyle. With core disciplines such as arts, humanities, and sciences, we are committed to meeting the evolving needs of the students we serve.

It’s back to school at DSU! With the start of the Fall 2020 semester Monday, August 17, we welcome another strong cohort of new graduate students. While COVID-19 continues to shake up the academic landscape, our 17 online programs remain unchanged. Students are afforded the flexibility to live, work, and study from anywhere. At the same time, our face-to-face degrees are ready to accommodate each learner’s circumstance. Follow our social media for updates, and welcome back!

Looking for a graduate program but can’t find one that suits all of your individual needs and career goals? Apply to the Master of Arts in Liberal Studies program at Delta State! Our MA-LS degree recently added an all-online option as well as introduced an interdisciplinary track for learners interested in multiple disciplines. While the program is still grounded in the liberal arts, with concentrations in History and English, the interdisciplinary track will allow students the opportunity to combine fields such as business, education, psychology, etc.

The Delta State Master of Arts in Teaching program (all online!) nearly doubled its enrollment for the summer terms, and we look forward to another increase in Fall 2020. With Mississippi experiencing a teacher shortage, we are proud to help learners transform into educators, and to assist in the development of the next generation of our state’s leaders. Ready to join our next cohort?! Apply online, then submit transcripts, a statement of purpose, and 3 letters of recommendation to grad-info@deltastate.edu.
