Graduate & Continuing Studies

Welcome to Delta State University Graduate and Continuing Studies. Delta State offers a variety of flexible and affordable degree programs with no out of state tuition fees, including online programs and night classes, that will not only serve your academic or professional needs but will also make coursework easier to access and complete for your lifestyle. With core disciplines such as arts, humanities, and sciences, we are committed to meeting the evolving needs of the students we serve.

We know life is a little chaotic right now, to say the least. Delta State is staying proactive as we learn to cope with the effects of the coronavirus on academic– and daily– life. All spring courses have been moved online. Fortunately, 15 of our graduate programs were already delivered via distance education, so a limited number of grad students have been impacted. We will continue posting frequent updates on social media, especially regarding Summer School 2020. Stay tuned, and in the meantime, be clean, go green!

Life is throwing a lot of curveballs right now. We promise applying to grad school won’t be one of them. While standardized tests are being canceled across the country, Delta State applicants have no need to fear.  Our 30 graduate programs have minimal admission requirements. MBA applicants with a 3.0 or above, or four years’ work experience, are automatically admitted– no GMAT required. For programs that do require the GRE or Praxis, we offer academic holds, allowing applicants the flexibility to submit test scores within their first semester.

Delta State is proud to offer multiple military-friendly graduate programs! 15 of our degrees are entirely online, and NONE require out-of-state tuition fees. Our Master of Applied Science in Informational Technologies, Master of Commercial Aviation, and Master of Business Administration programs now accept up to 12 transfer hours from credit-bearing military training, meaning you could complete your degree in just TWO semesters.
