By March 13, 2018

Nick White, a native of Mississippi, will provide a book reading and signing March 26 from 7-8 p.m. in the GIT Center, Kethley Hall, Suite E, Room 150.

White is the author of the novel “How to Survive a Summer.” His searing debut novel centers around a gay-to-straight conversion camp in Mississippi and a man’s reckoning with the trauma he faced there as a teen.

White is an assistant professor of English at Ohio State University’s MFA program in creative writing. His short stories, poems, and essays have appeared in a variety of places, including The Kenyon Review, Guernica, The Hopkins Review, Indiana Review, The Literary Review, Lit Hub and elsewhere. His short story collection, “Sweet & Low,” will be published on June 5.
