July 2026

17 – Move-in for Graduate Hall Directors is from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Office of University Services, 204 H.L. Nowell Union.

26 – Move-in for Resident Assistants is from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Office of University Services, 204 H.L. Nowell Union.
Move-in for Color Guard & Dance Team is from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Office of University Services, 204 H.L. Nowell Union.

August 2026

1 – Move-in for Okra Pioneers is from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Office of University Services, 204 H.L. Nowell Union.

2 – Move-in for Marching Band is from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Office of University Services, 204 H.L. Nowell Union.

3 – Move-in for Football is from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Office of University Services, 204 H.L. Nowell Union.
Move-in for Returning Sorority Members is from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Office of University Services, 204 H.L. Nowell Union. This is only for members that are living on the halls & assisting in PNM recruitment. 

5 – Move-in for Cheer is from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Office of University Services, 204 H.L. Nowell Union.

8 – Move-in for Men’s & Women’s Soccer is from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Office of University Services, 204 H.L. Nowell Union.

1o – Move-in for students participating in Panhellenic New Member Recruitment is from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Office of University Services, 204 H.L. Nowell Union. You will be assigned a temporary room for recruitment week. Please bring only essentials for Recruitment Week. Once you accept your bid later in the week, you will be assigned your permanent room and can move to that room on August 16 with all your belongings.

12 – Move-in for Cross Country is from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Office of University Services, 204 H.L. Nowell Union.

15 – Move-in for all remaining students is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1st floor of H.L. Nowell Union. | Meal plans begin.

The following groups are still awaiting confirmation of their actual dates for move-in: SGA

28 – Last day to request a meal plan change. All change requests must be made via email to housing@deltastate.edu

November 2026

16 – Students needing to stay over the Thanksgiving Break need to register with the Office of University Services by 5 pm.

21 – All residence halls close at 12 p.m. for Thanksgiving Break.

30 – All residence halls re-open at 12 p.m.

December 2026

6 – 24-hr. Quiet Hours begins at 5 pm through the conclusion of final exams.

7 – Students needing to stay over Winter Break need to register with the Office of University Services by 5 pm.

12 – All non-approved residents must turn in room keys and vacate the building by 12 p.m.

January 2027

4 – 6: Residence Hall Staff return from Winter Break.

13 – Move-in for all students is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at your assigned residence hall. | Meal plans begin.

March 2027

1 – Students needing to stay over Spring Break need to register with the Office of University Services by 5 pm.

6 – All residence halls close at 12:00 p.m. for Spring Break.

14 – All residence halls re-open at 12 p.m.

May 2027

2 – 24-hr. Quiet Hours begins at 5 pm through the conclusion of final exams

8 – All non-Summer Term residents must turn in room keys and vacate the building by 12 p.m.

21 – Move-in for all students requesting to stay on campus for Summer Session I. All students remaining on campus will be consolidated to summer spaces. 

June 2027

25 – Move-in for all students requesting to stay on campus for Summer Session II.
