| As part of the NEA Big Read: Bolivar County project, a screening of “High on the Hog: How African American Cuisine Transformed America.” Featured author and historian, Adrian Miller, is in the film, and will be at Delta State University on Monday, February 6.
Episode “Freedom” (58 minutes) – Barbecued brisket meets Senegalese lamb and a Juneteenth feast as we head to Texas to ride with Black cowboys and take in Jerrelle Guy’s cakes.
