Janie Allen Bradley Literacy Event

The Janie Allen-Bradley Literacy Endowment was established in 2012 to honor veteran literacy professor, Dr. Janie Allen-Bradley, and perpetuate her significant work in the area of developing and improving the literacy of young students. The 2nd annual literacy event funded through the endowment is scheduled for Tuesday, November 18, and will feature Mrs. Doris Jones of Madison, Mississippi, a professional storyteller who has opened the world of storytelling and reading to thousands of children. Mrs. Jones has a wide range of classroom and library experiences, she teaches and promotes reading while keeping the audience engaged with her animated, interactive style. The public is invited to attend this event which will be held in the Jacob Conference Center from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. Please join this celebration of literacy!
