International Student Week

Once again it’s time to celebrate the International Student Week, Wednesday, April 10th – Friday, April 12th. Please support DSU international students and participate in their on campus activities.  This year’s International Student Week 2013 will run as follows:

Wednesday, April 10th: 

10am-2pm, Ticket Sales and International Display Boards, First Floor, Union Lobby

International display boards representing countries of DSU international students.  Also, ticket sales for Thursday’s International Food Tasting dinner and entries for the International Soccer Tournament. Tickets are also available from international Students and the DSU Student Success Center, Union 308.

Thursday, April 11th:

5pm- 9pm, Travel the Globe in One Night, State Room, Union

Join us at the annual international food tasting dinner.  Sample different meals from around the world. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $5 for students and $10 for faculty, staff and community. Students will also give brief PowerPoint presentations about their countries during this event. The list of times of each countries presentation will be available in the Union beginning on Wednesday, April 10th. 

Friday, April 12th: 

3pm, Annual International Soccer Tournament, location pending: DSU Soccer field or Intramural Field

The entry for a team of seven players is $25. After the soccer tournament, Free Domino’s Pizza will be provided to everyone who participated in the tournament. Please contact Guillaume Lacour to submit a team at lacour.g@gmail.com
