Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month: Gallery of Latinx and Hispanic American Icons

An event every week that begins at 10:30 am on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, repeating until October 15, 2021
| In recognition of National Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month, the Division of Languages and Literature and the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee will host several events including Cine Club, La Cocina Latina, and La Galería de Los Iconos Latinos e Hispanoamericanos (Gallery of Latinx and Hispanic American Icons). In La Galería, students, faculty, staff, and other members of the DSU and Cleveland Community are welcome to come and explore displays designed by students that show case research into Hispanic and Latinx history, culture, pioneers, innovator, and leaders. La Galería will also feature items from Hispanic and Latinx countries on loan from international students, students from immigrant families, and members of the DSU/Cleveland Community.
La Galería will also feature an art project from Speech and Hearing Sciences major Hannah Steward inspired by Frida Khalo. La Galería is open weekdays from 10:30 am to 4 pm in the Language Lab located in Kethley Hall 235. |
