DSU Music Dept Hosts Lecture & Performance from Dr. Ellie Mannette

Dr. Ellie Mannette, Professor of Pan Music at West Virginia University is considered the father of the steel drum and was the first person to make the drum from a 55 gallon barrell. There will also be a master class with the DSU Steel Band on the BPAC main stage.
