Author David Gelin has developed an exhibit of the oral history and photograph materials he has collected over the years compiling his book, BBQ Joints: Stories and Secret Recipes from the Barbecue Belt.  These striking images and colorful stories reveal an entire culture and heritage associated with the traditions of creating one of those quintessential southern foodways….barbecue.  Any way you spell it, the aromas and memories come back the same.  The public is invited to attend the opening reception which will feature a variety of barbecue options and hear a presentation developed by the author, David Gelin.
