Delta State University offers a Free Tuition Scholarship to support students from Mississippi.
Your scholarship will cover 100% of tuition if you’re a Pell Grant-eligible, first-time freshman entering Fall 2025. It’s renewable for up to four years (eight semesters), provided you maintain Pell eligibility and demonstrate progress toward a degree.
Here’s how it works. We apply your Pell Grant and any other earned scholarships to your tuition fee. If there is any balance due, Delta State covers it.
