The Office of Student Life and Development is looking for volunteers to help DSU students move into their residence halls on Aug.20, beginning at 1 p.m. Please email Michael Lipford at mlipford@deltastate.edu to let us know if you are available to assist. We are asking all volunteers to wear a GREEN shirt.
Volunteers will: meet and greet students; help deliver belongings to students’ rooms; answer questions; provide directions; and a variety of other customer service  functions to give students and their families a great impression of what it means to be a part of the Statesmen family.
The welcome tent will be located in front of the Young-Mauldin Dining Hall serving water, sodas, ice cream, pizza and sno-cones.
