The Delta State University Department of Music will present Kaitlin Murphy, soprano, in her Senior Recital at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, in the Recital Hall of the Bologna Performing Arts Center. The recital is free and open to the public.
A native of Pearl, Miss., Murphy is a senior pursuing a Bachelor of Choral Music Education.
While at DSU, Murphy has been involved in the Delta State Chorale, Chamber Singers, Opera Workshop, and is a member of Mu Phi Epsilon, Gamma Zeta Chapter.
Murphy has twice been the recipient of the Maggie F. Ewing Vocal Scholarship, has served as a DSU Music Ambassador, worked as a music theory tutor, and has been a student employee in the music office.
