Sung-Eun Ryu, a Delta State sophomore piano performance major from Hwaseong, South Korea, recently competed in the Southern Division Competitions of the Music Teachers National Association in Lynchburg, Virginia.
Winners from 9 southern states competed for a chance to compete at the national competitions in April. Ryu represented Mississippi in the young artist piano solo category presenting a full program of works by Beethoven, Chopin, and Muczynski.
