Delta State University Police Department will host the Mississippi Office of Homeland Security for a series of workshops April 18-19 at the Baoini Conference Center.
On April 18, they will present two workshops on Citizen Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE), once at 12:30 p.m. and again at 3 p.m. The two-hour workshop provides information about what the public needs to know during an active shooter emergency.
Additionally on April 18 at 6 p.m., a Church Safety and Security Planning class will take place in the conference center.
The CRASE program will repeat at 9 a.m. on April 19.
The public is invited to attend these free workshops. Recording is prohibited without DHS permission.
