The Delta State University Department of Music will present pianist Andrew Wasylina in his Bachelor of Music Education Senior Recital at 1:40 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, in the Recital Hall of the Bologna Performing Arts Center.
The recital is free and open to the public. The event will also be live-streamed on the DSU Department of Music Facebook page.
Wasylina, a senior Choral Music Education major with an emphasis in Piano from Oxford, Miss., has been involved in the chamber, wind ensemble, chorale, opera, and marching band.
He will perform selections by Johann Sebastian Bach, Ludwig Van Beethoven, Gertrude van den Bergh, Johannes Brahms and Heitor Villa-Lobos.
Andrew is from the studio of Dr. Karen Fosheim.
