The Delta State University Department of Music will present Bailey Whitehead, percussion, in his Senior Capstone Recital at 1:40 p.m. Thursday, April 28, in the Recital Hall of the Bologna Performing Arts Center.
The recital is free and open to the public.
Whitehead is a senior in the Bachelor of Arts in Music program. A native of from Senatobia, Miss., Whitehead is from the studio of Dr. Josh Armstrong.
During his time at DSU, Whitehead has been involved in the Wind Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, World Percussion Group, and assisted with the Delta State Honor Band.
