The Delta State Percussion Ensemble will present there spring concert April 16 at 7:30 p.m. in Jobe Auditorium.
Joining them on stage will be the Mississippi State University Percussion Ensemble. They will collaborate on “Ionization,” a piece by Varese that many consider to be the first written percussion ensemble.
The DSU ensemble will be fresh off a performance of this piece at Mississippi State from the previous week.
