McNair Research Scholars Host Stanford University on Oct. 24

By October 17, 2018

McNair Research Scholars will host Stanford University on Wednesday, Oct. 24 from 5:30 PM to 7 PM in Baioni Conference Center on the Delta State University campus.

Stanford University will talk to Delta State undergraduates about its graduate programs and the Knight-Hennessy Scholars program, a graduate-level scholarship aimed at preparing the next generation of global leaders.

The Knight-Hennessy Scholars program annually selects up to 100 high-achieving students with demonstrated leadership and civic commitment to receive full funding to pursue a graduate education at Stanford. Recipients may pursue studies at any of university’s seven internationally top-ranked graduate schools—offering more than 145 graduate programs ranging from JD to MBA to MD to MFA and all manner of Ph.D.s—and will be educated to navigate across business, government, academia, and nonprofit sectors.

The information session will include a PowerPoint presentation and a 30-minute Q & A.

All students who are interested in post-baccalaureate opportunities are invited to register for the event. Registration will ensure information about their potential degree program at Stanford to be available at the event. Seating is limited. Register at http://stanford.io/2N6iUBH
