What does this award mean to you?
This award is particularly meaningful due to my being nominated by my coworkers. It’s a reminder of the work that has been put in, as well as the bright future ahead for our program. I have worked at Delta State University since I graduated, and have grown in various roles throughout my time. This program and university have been home for my family and me for some time now, and this award is also a reminder of the wonderful family we are a part of in Cleveland.
What do you like best about your job?
I most enjoy the comradery with my coworkers, along with the faculty & staff. It’s great to have a hands-on role in the growth of our Flight Program. I’ve also enjoyed seeing our flight students come through the program and grow as students, pilots, and people as they pursue their dreams. Having a job where you get to fly just about every day certainly makes it easy to look forward to work. I’ve also been blessed to continue my education through the Commercial Aviation master’s program.
What do you like best about Delta State?
Delta State University has such a wonderful community among the employees and students. I also feel that not only the aviation program, but the university as a whole has a bright future ahead, and I’m ecstatic to be involved. The university is also part of such a welcoming town that easily feels like home.
