An Evening of Chamber Music, April 25

Tonight, April 25, at 7:30 p.m, the DSU Department of Music will present a Chamber Ensembles Concert in the Bologna Performing Arts Center Recital Hall. The concert will feature chamber ensembles from the woodwind and brass studios, including the DSU Flute Ensembles, the DSU Clarinet Quartet, the DSU Saxophone Quartet, the DSU High Brass Ensemble, and the DSU Tuba-Euphonium Duo.

The DSU Clarinet Quartet is comprised of Esther Barulli, Taylor Clolinger, Emily Hercules, and Angelina Meeks. The DSU Saxophone Quartet includes Zech Hall, Jackson Moore, Josh Ray, and Dakota Young. The clarinet and saxophone ensembles are under the direction of Dr. Bret Pimentel.

The DSU Flute Ensemble includes Savannah Cavalier, Barbara Doorenbos, Claire Foster, Will Ghrigsby, Amanda Lutz, and April Mondy and is directed by Dr. Shelley Collins.

The low brass studio, under the direction of Dr. Douglas Mark, will feature Catheryne Booth, euphonium and Tony Especto, tuba.

The High Brass Ensemble is directed by Dr. Michael Ellzey.
