Delta State University will fly its flag at half-staff on Monday, March 4 to honor former bookkeeper Ann Thompson Nelson, 89, who passed away on Friday, March 1, 2019, at her home in Cleveland.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 PM on Monday, March 4 at First United Methodist Church in Cleveland, with Rev. Billy Owen and Rev. Will Wilkerson officiating. Interment will be in New Cleveland Cemetery. Visitation occurred on March 3 at Ray Funeral Home.
For 35 years, she was a bookkeeper for First United Methodist Church and Delta State University.
