More than 250 3rd-5th grade students from Pearman Elementary and D. M. Smith Elementary will participate in the ME* (Meaningful Economics and Entrepreneurship) Competition at Delta State University on Nov. 2, 2018 from 9 AM to 1:30 PM. Up for grabs: prizes and cash awards.
The ME* Competition is a program designed to recognize student achievement in acquiring and applying knowledge in economics, entrepreneurship, and personal finance. The competition is sponsored by the Mississippi Council on Economic Education, Delta State University Center for Economic Education, Foundation for the Mid South, the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, New Orleans branch, and the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, Memphis branch.
