Delta State University exhibited at the 39th annual Memphis Mineral, Fossil and Jewelry Show in late April.
The collection of rocks, minerals and fossils was presented by Dr. Nina Baghai-Riding, professor of biology and environmental science at Delta State, and her husband Keith Riding.
The event features displays created by club members and assorted hands-on activities. Additionally, there are more than 30 dealers who sell rocks, minerals, fossils and jewelry. Exhibitors also include displays from local universities, museums and other agencies.
