Featured in this section of the concert is a piece titled “Set Me As a Seal” that is written for women’s voices, piano and flugel horn performed by music faculty member Michael Elizey. “The lovely Seal Lullaby” by Eric Whitcare, will be led by student conductor Mallary Morrow.

Delta Singing Statesmen will feature music of master composers Schubert, Mendelssohn and Rachmaninoff interspersed with a spiritual and sea shanty written for male voices. Student conductors will include Gunter McCourt and Tyler Gunn.

The Delta Chorale will conclude the program with a Michael Haydn extended work that features a solo quartet comprised of Gillian Oakley, Julia Westmorland, Caleb Chambers and Elijah Davison. Additional works on the concert include some moments of magical incantations and love songs.
