The Chick-fil-A Leader Academy Kickoff will be held Wednesday. The event will bring over 300 high school students from across the state to Delta State. While on campus, the students will facilitate a service project, packing 100,000 meals for children across the world.
The service project will be held in Wyatt Gym from 11:15 a.m. to 1:30 p.m, and anyone on campus is invited to participate.
“We welcome any DSU students, faculty and staff to attend between the times listed, jump on an assembly line, and help us reach our goal of 100,000 meals during the two-hour period,” said Elizabeth Joel, campus coordinator. “A sign-in sheet will be available for students and athletes that may receive credit for attending. We look forward to seeing everyone that can join us to participate in this wonderful cause.”
