The Gertrude C. Ford Center for Teaching and Learning is currently accepting applications for the Fall 2019 Faculty Teaching Program, which recognizes the importance of teaching at Delta State.
In exchange for a course release or release from other duties, such as committee work, the Faculty Teaching Program offers an opportunity for selected faculty to learn teaching strategies that can enhance student success at Delta State. Accepted applicants meet from 2-5 p.m. each Tuesday of the fall semester. Additional responsibilities include completing weekly assignments that average one hour’s worth of work, participating in individual teaching consultations, and delivering a professional-development workshop on a particular teaching topic of one’s own choosing.
