Ben Neal will give his senior percussion recital on Thursday, Nov. 1 at 1:40 PM in the Recital Hall of the Bologna Performing Arts Center. The recital, presented by the Delta State University Department of Music, is free and open to the public.
From Etta, MS, the music education major studies with Dr. Josh Armstrong, professor of percussion. Since arriving at DSU in 2016 from Northeast Mississippi Community College, Neal has served as principal percussionist with the Delta State Wind Ensemble and performed with the Delta State Percussion Ensemble and the Delta State World Percussion Group. He is drum captain of the Delta State Marching Band and serves on the executive committee of the professional music fraternity, Mu Phi Epsilon.
