The Delta State University Department of Music will present baritone Thomas Tutor in a Bachelor of Music Education (BME) Senior Recital at 1:40 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, in the Recital Hall of the Bologna Performing Arts Center.
The recital is free and open to the public. The event will also be live-streamed on the DSU Department of Music’s Facebook page.
Tutor, a senior Choral Music Education major from Batesville, Miss., has been involved in the Chamber Singers. He has been the grandmaster of ceremonies for The Lambda Pi chapter of Kappa Sigma for the past 2 years.
He will perform selections by Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson, Mable Bailey, Douglas Moore, Louise Reichardt, Maude Cuney Hare, Clara Schumann and Sheldon Harnick. Tutor is from the studio of Dr. Jamie Dahman.
