The DSU Alumni Band reunion will be held on Friday, Nov. 9 and Saturday, Nov. 10 during Homecoming weekend.
Alumni band members are invited to take a tour of the renovated Zeigel Hall, enjoy a Friday evening concert, and join the Marching Statesmen in the stands and on the field during the Homecoming game.
Friday, Nov. 9:
5:30 PM: Zeigel Hall open house for band alumni and friends. Light appetizers served.
7:30 PM: Wind Ensemble and Percussion Ensemble concert in Band Hall
Saturday, Nov. 10:
8 AM – 9:30 AM: Alumni Band registration
10 AM: Homecoming Parade
11 AM – 12 PM: Alumni/Varsity Band rehearsal
1:15 PM: March to stadium
1:45 PM: Pre-game show
2 PM: Kick-off
Registration
The registration fee is $10 per participant. The DSU Alumni Band is not a fundraising event for the DSU Band program. The registration fee covers only the cost of the T-shirt. Registration will be in the north lobby of Zeigel Hall.
Instruments
Participants will need to furnish their own instrument and flip folder (if desired) for this event. If you need assistance securing the use of an instrument, contact Erik W. Richards at erichards@deltastate.edu.
Music
Alumni Band will play alongside the Marching Statesmen in the stands and on the field during halftime to play “Call Me.”

Game tickets
Alumni Band members and one guest are admitted to the Homecoming game free of charge.
