What does this award mean to you? This award means that someone has been watching and observing what I’ve been doing and decided to let the university know that I’m doing a good job. I’m very honored to be given this award.
What do you like best about your job? I love that I get to work with babies, especially the little ones that I am responsible for, for eight hours out of the day.
What do you like best about Delta State? I love Delta State University, this is where I received my undergraduate degree. DSU was close to my home, so I could commute everyday to and from class. I also love that it is a small campus.
What do you like best about living in the Mississippi Delta? I was born and raised in the Mississippi Delta (Mound Bayou, MS). It is my home, it is where my family resides and where I met my husband. I love the winter weather, however, I don’t like the mosquitos in the summer.
Something most people don’t know about you? Something most people don’t know about me is that I’m really shy. Most people don’t know that I love doing crafts and riding motorcycles with my husband.
