Delta State University’s annual toy drive is underway and runs through 5 PM Thursday, Dec. 13.Staff, faculty, students, and friends are encouraged to donate unwrapped gifts for children ages infant to 10 years old. The gifts will be donated to children identified by the Bolivar County Family and Children’s Services.
Bring unwrapped gifts to the Financial Aid Office, KW 144, the Housing Office, Union 202A, or to the DSU staff breakfast (which takes place on Dec. 13).
If unable to drop off your gift, email Christie Rocconi (chrcconi@deltastate.edu) or Julie Jackson (jjackson@deltastate.edu) to request pickup Dec. 11-13.
Each donated gift with a minimum value of at least $5 entitles the giver to a ticket for a drawing for two prizes at the annual DSU staff breakfast. Toys must be turned in by 5 PM on Dec. 12 to be eligible for the raffle ticket.
The annual toy drive is sponsored by DSU’s Staff Council.
