8.30.21 Update—As previously announced, Delta State will be open today.
Those traveling from outlying areas are encouraged to drive with extreme caution, assess carefully whether it is safe to drive in your area, and travel only if you feel it is safe to do so.

8.29.21 Update—Delta State University has been closely monitoring the impact of Hurricane Ida on the campus and the vicinity. At this time, it appears that the campus is outside the severe storm area.
Therefore, the University will remain fully operational on Monday, and all classes will meet as scheduled. However, if you are traveling to campus from a county within the storm’s warning region, please be very careful, and travel only if you feel it is safe to do so.
Delta State will continue to monitor the storm’s impact overnight, and will provide additional information, if necessary, no later than 6:30 a.m., Monday, Aug. 30.
