CLEVELAND, Miss. — The Bologna Performing Arts Center at Delta State University is thrilled to announce a special concert performance by internationally acclaimed, multi-platinum selling singer and ASCAP award-winning songwriter, LeAnn Rimes. The concert will take place on Thursday, September 19, at 7:30 PM and tickets are selling fast.
LeAnn Rimes has made an indelible mark on the music industry, selling over 48 million units globally. Her extraordinary career includes winning 2 Grammy® Awards, 12 Billboard Music Awards, 2 World Music Awards, 3 Academy of Country Music Awards, 2 Country Music Association Awards, and a Dove Award. Rimes became the youngest solo artist to win a Grammy® Award at the age of 14, and the first country artist to win “Artist of the Year” at the Billboard Music Awards at age 15.
In 2022, Rimes received the prestigious ASCAP Golden Note Award, recognizing her extraordinary career milestones. Among her 63 released singles, “How Do I Live” stands out as Billboard’s Hot 100 all-time #1 hit by a female artist and ranks #6 on Billboard’s “Greatest of All Time: Hot 100 Songs” list.
