DSU Foundation sets up new planned giving website

By May 8, 2024Foundation

CLEVELAND, Miss. — The Delta State University Foundation is excited to announce the launch of its new planned giving website. The site is designed to make it easy for donors to understand deferred gifts, featuring clear explanations and illustrations. It also provides the most up-to-date information on tax rates, legal documents, state regulations, and gift annuity rates.

Dr. Kent Wyatt, Delta State President Emeritus, had high praise for the site, saying, “This website is exceptional. It’s not only informative but also visually appealing. It addresses most questions donors may have about giving to Delta State. I’m impressed.”

Supporting Delta State comes in many forms, but planning a gift to the Delta State University Foundation as part of long-term estate and financial plans ensures lasting support for DSU students and programs. Those interested can explore how to make a meaningful impact while also benefiting yourself and your loved ones with a planned or major gift.

Amber Kincaid, development officer and planned giving officer with the Foundation said, “Discover the tax advantages and financial benefits of creating your personal legacy. Through this platform, we can provide easy-to-understand illustrations of gift concepts, along with e-newsletters, donor proposals, social media updates, educational webinars, and more.”

The DSU Foundation is eager to collaborate with alumni and friends who want to secure the future of Delta State University through planned giving.
