Chapter President Zach Pinkerton said, “We had a great evening thanks to the Alumni/Foundation staff, volunteers, and our wonderful sponsors. We were blessed with great weather, so the event was well attended and we raised the most money since the event’s inception in 2017. It was another great year supporting the Liza Vaughn Memorial Scholarship and promoting DSU Bolivar County’s fantastic alumni.”

A total of 39 local businesses sponsored the event. The Delta String Band provided the entertainment, and the recipient of the Liza Vaughn Memorial Scholarship was announced. This year’s award went to Cabot Nassar, a senior at Bayou Academy. The Crawfish King and Queen were also crowned, with this year’s honors going to Dr. Johnny Arnold and Mrs. Brenda Outlaw.
