DSU Business Students Qualify for FBLA Nationals

CLEVELAND, Miss.— Nine students from the DSU College of Business and Aviation attended the Future Business Leaders of America Collegiate State Leadership Conference held at the Mississippi University for Women in Columbus, Miss. last week. All nine placed high enough in their respective events to qualify for the FBLA Collegiate National Leadership Conference which will be held in Atlanta, GA in June. 

Dr. Tomeka Harbin, Chair of the Division of Management, Marketing, and Business Administration said, “I’m beyond excited and proud of our students. This is the first time that every student qualified for nationals.” 

In another first, a DSU student was elected to a statewide office with MS FBLA. Arianna Chestnut will serve as the Collegiate Secretary for the 2023-2024 academic year.
