Delta ChoraleThe Delta Chorale at Delta State University will present their fall concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, 2021, at the Bologna Performing Arts Center, located on Delta State’s campus.
Repertoire on the program will include a classical work by Mozart, a Georgian folk song, an American shaker tune and a gospel arrangement featuring Music Education major soloists Vicki Carter and JaMareus Freeman.
The DSU Chamber Singers will add a touch of spice to the program with an Appalachian folk song filled with elements of the blues.
Featured Chamber Singers soloists are Jayla Isom, Amber Browning and Clay Tutor who will be singing their final concert as DSU students.
The performance will be conducted by Dr. Julia Thorn, director of Choral Activities, working in collaboration with Dr. Kumiko Shimizu at the piano.
