Three Delta State Music Students Named Finalists at Mississippi Chapter Conference of National Association of Teachers of Singing

Three Delta State University music students were named finalists at the Mississippi Chapter Conference of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, held March 29 and 30 at the University of Mississippi in Oxford.

JaMareus Freeman earned first place, sophomore men. Austin Means earned third place, junior men. And Thomas Tutor earned fourth place, freshmen men.

They study with Dr. Jamie Dahman, assistant professor of music at Delta State.

Seven DSU music students attended the event, which includes guest presentations and a classical singing competition for students.
