The Delta Playhouse Theater reunion was held April 5-6.

Around 20 attendees were served lunch on the stage of Jobe Hall as they reminisced about their days at DSU. The group then visited Delta Music Institute, where several Players read from scripts of some of their performances and were recorded. Past Players also met with the current Delta Players and discussed the importance of theater and how it has made an impact on their lives. From there, Delta State University Archivist Emily Jones ’99 led a tour of campus. On Saturday, the group toured GRAMMY Museum® Mississippi.

“The Alumni Association was thrilled to have past members of the Delta Playhouse Theater back on campus,” said Interim Alumni Director Amanda Robinson. “We had alumni from various states visiting just for this reunion. We enjoyed getting to hear about their time as students and event reading a few lines from a script.”
