Joining President LaForge is Rebekah Arant, a Delta State admissions recruiter, to discuss the upcoming admissions event.

At Delta State, we take great pride in academic excellence, which is at the core of Statesmen Scholarship Day and Spring Preview Day — two events that are part of Go Green Weekend. Here are some numbers from the Office of Admission’s two biggest spring events.

  • High school students with a 26 ACT score or higher and a 3.5 GPA or higher were invited to this year’s Statesman Scholarship Day.
  • Invited students come from 10 states, including Michigan, Maine, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Alabama.
  • 213 people attended last year’s Spring Preview Day, including 110 parents and 103 prospective students.
  • The winners will receive full-ride scholarships.
