Delta States Continuing Education to offer Heartsaver First Aid Training

Delta State University Continuing Education, in partnership with Air Evac Lifeteam, will be offering a Heartsaver® First Aid Training course for individuals wishing to learn the skills needed to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. In this classroom-based course, participants will learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies. The course is also designed to earn CEU credits for educators license recertification needs. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to learn the key changes in First Aid training under the 2010 American Heart Association guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Care.

Join the Air Evac Lifeteam instructors for this Heartsaver® First Aid Training course. This course will meet on Saturday, June 1, from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. in the Capps Archives & Museum Seminar Room on the Delta State University campus. The cost is $25 per person, which includes the cost of CEU credits. Certification cards will be issued for participants who successfully complete this course.
