Delta State’s Continuing Education to offer Heartsaver CPR Certification for Community members and Educators

Delta State University Continuing Education, in partnership with AirEvac Lifeteam, will be offering a Heartsaver CPR certification course for individuals needing a certification card or wishing to learn how to perform CPR. In this classroom-based course, participants will learn to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR to victims of all ages, use an AED and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. The course is also designed to earn CEU/SEMI credits for Educators to assist with license recertification needs. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to learn the key changes in CPR under the 2010 American Heart Association guidelines for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care.

Join the Air Evac Lifeteam instructors for this Heartsaver CPR course. This course will meet on Monday, May 6 at 4 p.m. in the Hugh Ellis Walker Alumni Building Simmons Room on the DSU campus, and the cost is $20 per person, which includes the cost of CEU/SEMI credits. Certification cards will be issued for participants who successfully complete this course.
