Grammy U students from the Delta Music Institute (DMI) at Delta State University recently served as production assistants at the third annual Mississippi Grammy Gala, featuring the Peavey Awards, given to Mississippi artists and musicians who have won Grammy awards.
Tricia Walker, DMI director, also participated in the show by providing vocals for legendary country artist Charley Pride, a native of the Mississippi Delta town of Sledge.
