The Division of Health Physical Education and Recreation at Delta State will host a one– day workshop entitled “Assessment ’09” on Friday, April 17, from 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. in the Wyatt Gymnasium on campus.
The workshop will focus on assessment in physical education. Delta State’s physical education faculty, Margaret Green Middle School faculty, and representatives from the Mississippi Department of Education Office of Healthy Schools will conduct sessions dealing with the need for assessment, technological assessment in physical education, and assessment requirements for K-12 physical education in Mississippi Public Schools.
Registration fee is $35.
