The Delta State University Department of Music will present the Woodwind Ensembles, the Clarinet Quintet, and the Saxophone Quartet in their annual concert on Tuesday, April 7, at 7:30 p.m. in the Recital Hall of the Bologna Performing Arts Center on the campus.
Under the direction of Dr. Andrea Cheeseman, associate professor of music at Delta State, the ensembles will perform music of Mozart, Joplin, Jacob and Russian inspired folk music.
Members of the Clarinet Quintet include: Katie Brooker of Olive Branch, Lynnzy Higgins of Hazlehurst, Nikki Jobe of Vicksburg, Jacquea Johnson of Charleston, and Tabatha Robertson of Adamsville, Tennessee.
Members of the Saxophone Quartet include: Katherine Grant of Tupelo, Steven Hugley of Vicksburg, Brandon Smith of Olive Branch, and Austin White of Vicksburg.
