In celebration of Black History Month, Ms. Pinkye Morris Miles was honored as the Special Recognition Award Recipient by the Delta State University School of Nursing. Dr. Lizabeth Carlson, Dean of the School of Nursing, presented “Miss Pinky” with a framed certificate recognizing 44 years of service and dedication to nursing during a ceremony on Monday, Feb. 23.
