John Spencer Strickland (at left), a Delta State graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, with concentration in graphic design from Germantown, Tenn., and John Virgil Warren, a Delta State graduate with a Bachelor of Music Education degree, of DeKalb, were awarded the First Diplomas during Delta State University’s 83rd Fall Commencement ceremony held Saturday, Dec. 13, inside Walter Sillers Coliseum on campus.
The First Diploma is presented to the four-year graduating senior with the highest grade point average on a minimum of 112 hours of academic credit at Delta State.
